As their only daughter, my parents are having mixed emotions about my marriage. They are very happy that I was able to find the one man who they know would take care of me while I am gone, and yet they are sad to know that I will have to focus on starting a family and I may forget them. This is typical for parents anyway, but I know that they only mean well and nothing but the best for me.

As their little princess, my welfare will always concern them. For our wedding, they had bought me a lot of gifts including paying partly for our new home where we are currently living. My mother is very particular about the furnishings we would need for our home, and has even gotten a whole bunch of items from our registry for us. The one thing I absolutely love is the Egyptian cotton sheet sets I got, which they know is my preference when it comes to my beddings. This way I need not miss home when my bed feels just like my old one.
