After all, this is the only place where one can lie back, relax and be himself.
Oftentimes individuals invest in numerous furniture and paintings to improve the look of their bedroom. After all, the bed is the star and highlight of this room anyway.
I grew up and studied in Asia and recently migrated here in the US. From where I was from, here were only two kinds of weather, rainy and dry. We didn’t have four seasons like spring, summer, fall and winter. I never even had to bother and wear a trench coat when I go out during the month of December.
But when I arrived here (winter season, the cold was unbearable that wearing four layers of clothes can’t put me to sleep. I usually end up being groggy at the office and my performance was affected. That’s when my officemate told me to buy very thick bed comforters that could really put an end to my dilemma. So I bought one and when I used it, it was the first time I slept soundly through the cold.
One of the things a person has to decide on when moving to a new house is the size of the bed. It used to be that when you were single you slept on a single bed. Nowadays single people sleep on double beds and even queen size beds. Unless you’re a kid chances are you’ve outgrown your single bed and you much prefer a queen size bed. When my husband and I bought our queen size bed, we thought that it was big enough for the two of us. We bought queen size sheets and queen size comforter sets.
When our queen size bed arrived, we bought several queen size comforter sets and sheets. We did not foresee however that when our son was born, he would end up sleeping with us. I always thought he’d sleep in his crib. It became apparent however that if I wanted to get a good night’s sleep I would have to place my son beside me. It would save me from having to get up several times at night just to breastfeed him. Today my son is three years old, he still sleeps with us and we love having him on our bed. We just need to trade in our queen for a king.
