When they get a little older, tummy time helps to increase their back muscles and arm muscles so that they can get into the position to crawl. This way they don’t really feel like they are on the floor, but it gets the same results.

However, here is a safety rule to follow so that it is a lovely experience.  First, always check the temperature of the water.  It should be a little warmer than room temperature, no more.  Your hand is not a good judge in this case as it is hardened and not sensitive enough.  It’s better to use your elbow as it will register the heat much better.  Stir the water around a bit so there is an even warmth all through.  Place baby at the oposite end to the taps so there’s not risk of them accidentally turning them on or bumping their head.

When planning to buy a gift for a newborn baby, blankets will be a good option.  They are an essential item for baby’s comfort and warmth.  Any parent would love to receive a special blanket as a gift at a baby shower.  Wrapped in a blanket, baby is much easier to handle and carry.

Babies have extremely sensitive skin that absorbs any residue left on clothing or bedding.  This in turn gets stored in their little bodies, sometimes causing rashes and irritations to break out.  Most people are puzzled as to why this is happening as they are carefully washing everything in site.

The only safe and sure way is to search out organic cotton clothing and bedding that comes with a guarantee that the cloth has been supervised all the way and nothing chemical has touched it.  This cloth is much more durable than man-made and will quickly give you a better value even though it has cost a little bit more.
