Most new parents-to-be these days are now seeing the label “Organic” on baby items. We all want the best for our children but what is it that makes an item organic?
Organic baby clothing must be made without synthetic chemicals such as pesticides, fertilizers or growth hormones. Before the manufacturer can put the “organic” label on an organic product, they must obtain organic certification. You can take comfort in the fact that, when the clothing has to be thrown out, it won’t spend it’s lifetime in a landfill. It’s organic status will allow it to decay and bio-degrade which clothing made with synthetics and additives does not.
